What Can Eye Say?

What Can Eye Say?
By Andrew Moravick

Eye can not say what the mind sees,
The eye simply shows the scene,
Of course usually the mind with the eye agrees,
Yet the eye doesn’t always tell what a sight means.
Eyes allude to other sights entrapping the seer
To see a scene as if already seen,
Though the vision may be clear,
Still the eye may not know what that sight may mean.
Eye, for the most part may be right,
Red may be read as red and green may be seen as green,
But other senses exist beyond sight,
And eye surely can’t say what those senses mean.
All senses of course occasionally lie
But I tell you truly things seen with more than the eye.
